Available in double pitch drive and standard roller chains with single and multiple strand configurations. Specifications include 0.25 to 3 in. chain pitch, 0.13 to 1.88 in. distance between sidebars, and 0.09 to 0.94 in. pin diameter. Available with features such as case-hardened and armor-cased pins, pre-stressed process, corrosion and shock resistance, and stainless steel materials. Chain & Sprocket numbers are determined by multiplying the pitch by 80 (a 1/2 inch pitch chain & sprocket would be a No. 40 chain & sprocket). A hyphenated suffix indicates multiple strands.D40BS24H sprocket with 1-3/8″ finished bore is a durable, high quality, and precision double sprocket with 24 hardened teeth. Sprockets that have hardened teeth last longer and are much more durable than those that don’t. Something else that is notable about this sprocket is that it fully meets all ANSI Standards, which insures proper contact between the #40-2 double roller chain & sprocket and sprocket thus preventing premature wear or breakage. This sprocket is also black oxide coated which increases resistance to the environment and will prevent early rust build up. D40BS24H sprockets with a 1-3/8″ finished bore are supplied with a standard key-way and 2 set screws.
